The AEI SmartBox® is the intelligent core of the AEI SmartBox® system, acting as the brain that drives irrigation automation and energy optimisation. Equipped with industrial-grade components, it ensures robust reliability for demanding agricultural environments. This ‘Central Controller’ communicates seamlessly with the AEI app and field-based RemoteBoxes, enabling farmers to control and monitor irrigation remotely. Our supporting software allows the SmartBox to control and energy optimise up to six irrigation applications including centre pivots, linear irrigators, fixed sprinklers, transfer pumping, and dam filling. The SmartBox and our ‘Solar Optimisation’ software also allows for monitoring and optimisation of onsite renewable energy assets, maximising the usage of any onsite generation.

The SmartBox is built to withstand tough conditions with an IP67 rating and can be installed by any licensed electrician with the support of our in-house technical team, ensuring a smooth setup and ongoing reliability for every farm operation.
